The app is terrible… you can’t see the battery life, there is no way to change the lighting at will.
My product did not work unless you have it plugged in, then shuts off immediately, so much for a 20 hour power reserve.
Altec has offered to send a replacement for the defective unit, however it's been several weeks and no replacement.
Paired once and sounded good. After that it wouldn’t pair again. The lights would just stay on but none of the buttons worked.
I bought this last November and used it 3-4 times per week. It has stopped taking charges 9 months in.
